   2.1 Vertical Pressure Leaf Vessel for Diatomaceous Earth Filtration

   1. Diatomaceous earth (DE) serves as filter media to capture all solid particles measuring over 5 microns. This filtration medium is made from fossilized siliceous skeletons of tiny aquatic organisms known as diatoms.
   2. This DE filter operates by forming a porous filter cake of DE powder adhered onto stainless steel filter leaves, which are wrapped in heavy-duty polypropylene filter fabric.
   3. The porous DE cake forms a physical barrier that traps suspended solids within its structure. Contaminants are later flushed away together with the DE filter aid during maintenance cycles.
   4. An integrated internal spray manifold is fitted for system cleansing. This dedicated wash system delivers rapid, thorough and hassle-free cleaning across all internal surfaces.

   2.2 Twin Cartridge Filter Vessel

   1. Standard filter elements adopt a 40-inch plug-in design. The plugged end features an end cap paired with dual O-rings for superior leak-tight sealing; the opposite end is available in flat or spear tip configurations. Cartridge length, filter media and micron ratings can all be customized to match different operational demands.
   2. Contaminated fluid flows through the cartridge assembly. Any solid particles bigger than the labyrinthine channels inside the filter medium get trapped and retained, while finer particulates permeate through the material.
   3. Specialized filter media can absorb or adsorb hydrocarbons and various chemical contaminants. Operators should monitor inlet and outlet pressure gauges closely to determine the right timing for cartridge replacement.
   4. This Twin Filter duplex skid enables uninterrupted fluid processing. Operators may run both filter chambers simultaneously, or maintain continuous filtration with one tank while swapping out saturated cartridges inside the standby vessel.
