   System Scope & Components

    Vertical DE Pressure Leaf Filter Tank

   1. Diatomaceous earth (DE) works as the primary filter aid to separate all particles larger than 5 microns. It consists of fossilized skeletal fragments of microalgae named diatoms.
   2. The filtration mechanism relies on a permeable DE cake coating stainless steel filter leaves protected by robust polypropylene cloth.
   3. This porous DE coating physically blocks suspended impurities, holding all solid contaminants within the filter aid layer for subsequent removal during washing procedures.
   4. A built-in spray washing pipeline comes as standard for tank maintenance, delivering quick, efficient and straightforward internal cleaning operations.

    Dual Cartridge Filter Tank

   1. Standard plug-in filter cartridges measure 40 inches long. The insertion end cap is fitted with two O-rings to guarantee optimal sealing; the far end can be supplied flat or spear-shaped. Cartridge specifications including length, filter material and micron rating are adjustable per site requirements.
   2. As raw contaminated liquid passes through the filter, solids too large to pass through the medium’s intricate pathways are intercepted and retained, whereas smaller particles flow through the filter layer.
   3. Media engineered for oil and chemical removal trap pollutants via absorption or adsorption. Pressure transmitters mounted on the unit’s inlet and outlet indicate when filter cartridges need to be replaced.
   4. The Twin Filter duplex assembly is engineered for non-stop filtration work. Two modes are supported: running both filter vessels concurrently, or operating one chamber for filtration while replacing spent cartridges in the spare tank without process shutdown.
