The non-contact measurement method is adopted for the rotary table rotational speed and pump stroke speed sensor. The unit is composed of a proximity inductive switch assembly, an inductive metal block, cables, and other components.
When a metal object passes by the inductive surface of the sensor, a pulse signal is generated. This signal is transmitted to the data acquisition unit via cables, which then processes the signal and calculates the current rotary table rotational speed. The result is displayed on the driller’s console display meter and the duty room computer.
